Restoration & Remodeling Estimator Jenkins Restoration & Remodel is seeking a motivated Restoration & Remodeling Estimator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for developing accurate, detailed, and buildable estimates for residential restoration and remodeling projects while helping ensure projects are properly scoped before they move into production. While previous estimating or construction experience is preferred, we are also open to training the right person who is hungry, driven, detail-oriented, and genuinely willing to learn. Responsibilities Perform site visits, inspections, measurements, and documentation for potential projects. Prepare detailed estimates for residential restoration, insurance, reconstruction, and remodeling projects. Review insurance adjuster scopes and identify missing items, scope gaps, or potential supplements. Develop accurate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor estimates. Learn and utilize Xactimate, Claims Connect and other estimating tools. Ensure estimates clearly identify scope, assumptions, exclusions, allowances, and customer selections. Review estimates for accuracy and expected project profitability. Prepare supplements and supporting documentation when additional damage or scope is identified. Work closely with the project management and coordination teams to ensure the sold scope is executable. Provide accurate quantities and specifications to assist with material ordering. Participate in project handoff meetings and job walks. Identify potential change orders, upgrades, and additional work opportunities. Maintain organized estimating documentation, photos, measurements, notes, and supporting records. Communicate professionally with customers, insurance representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members. Qualifications Experience in construction, restoration, remodeling, estimating, project coordination, insurance restoration, or a related field is preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
