Estimator/Project Manager SERVPRO of Wheaton-Kensington Kensington, MD Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $85,000 a year 21 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Professional development assistance Qualifications Water damage restoration Fire restoration Estimating software for insurance claims Driver's License Xactimate IICRC Certification Full Job Description About Us SERVPRO of Wheaton/Kensington and Poolesville/Clarksburg/Damascus is a locally operated restoration and reconstruction company serving Montgomery County and the surrounding DMV area. We handle water, fire, mold, and storm damage mitigation and repair for residential and commercial clients, working directly with major insurance carriers. The Role We're looking for an Estimator to write accurate, well-documented mitigation and repair estimates using Xactimate, conduct on-site inspections, and work directly with insurance adjusters to keep jobs moving from first call to final approval. What You'll Do Conduct on-site assessments for water, fire, mold, and storm damage claims Write detailed scopes and estimates in Xactimate for both mitigation and repair phases Coordinate with adjusters to review, negotiate, and finalize estimates Use DocuSketch/Hover for accurate measurements and diagrams Communicate scope and timeline clearly to homeowners and property managers Work closely with production and project management teams to ensure estimates match field conditions What We're Looking For Experience with Xactimate required; restoration or construction estimating experience strongly preferred Comfortable reading a loss scene and translating it into an accurate scope Strong communication skills — you'll be a primary point of contact with clients and adjusters Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits across the territory IICRC certifications a plus, not required to start
Pay:
