Job Description

Estimator/ Project Manager Wrecking Corp is one of the premier Excavation, Demolition and Site Work Contractors serving the Metropolitan D.C. area.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage day to day tasks of field personnel.
  • Evaluate incoming requests for proposals and clearly define scopes of work.
  • Review bid drawings and reports (Civil, Architectural, Structural, MEP, Geotech, Environmental).
  • Prepare thorough estimates, proposals, schedules and bid submittals.
  • Review and negotiate contracts, plans and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors and foreman to ensure project specifications are followed.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including budgeting and cost forecasting.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and any potential issues or delays.
  • Submit requisitions on a timely basis.
  • Manage multiple projects with accuracy, precision, and speed.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a construction project manager or site superintendent.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in project management and estimating software such as Bluebeam, AGTEK, HeavyBid, B2W or similar tools.
  • Excellent Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc).
  • Great communication skills, (verbal and written), organizational skills, and problem solving skills.

From $150,000.00 per year
