Job Description
Landcrafters is seeking an experienced Project Estimator to join our crew. We create premium outdoor spaces built with craftsmanship, precision and long-lasting value. Our projects range from initial earthwork for new builds to complex stonework, planting, irrigation and continued maintenance practicing organic plant care and encouraging the development of native and sustainable landscapes.
If you are a motivated individual with a positive attitude, we need your help working with architects, clients, and our team to prepare cost estimates, labor, materials and time projections, based on project requirements and construction documents.

Qualifications:
3-5 years experience/background in landscape construction. Accurately read plans and blueprints. Strong spreadsheet and math skills. Attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and work comfortably in fast-paced environments with dynamic priorities. Excellent communication, organization and time management skills. Comfortable in cloud-based environment (Google Worksuite or Microsoft Teams). Innovative, confident, self-starter who is able to work both independently and as a part of the team. This is anIN-PERSON
position at our Wiscasset office. No remote work. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Project Estimating- Prepare accurate estimates for landscape, hardscape and sitework projects. Plan Review
- Interpret landscape designs and construction documents. Site Visits
- Interact with clients, assess project conditions and logistics. Proposal Creation
- Build clear, professional proposals. Vendor Relationships
- Source pricing for stone, plants, lighting and irrigation materials. Order, track, manage and inspect delivery of materials. Assess profitability
- Analyze and report on profitability.
