Project Facilitator (aka Estimator)
Reports To:
Senior Project Facilitator Position Mission At Meadowlark, exceptional remodeling begins long before construction starts. The Project Facilitator transforms design concepts into clear scopes of work, accurate budgets, and coordinated trade partner relationships that provide confidence for our homeowners and direction for our production team. This role blends analytical thinking with collaboration, ensuring projects move seamlessly from design toward construction. By asking thoughtful questions, embracing continuous learning, and maintaining a commitment to accuracy, the Project Facilitator helps create exceptional homeowner experiences while laying the foundation for successful projects.

Essential Functions ('what you'll be doing') Develop Accurate Project Estimates Prepare detailed, accurate project estimates throughout all phases of the design process. Analyze budgets and pricing to ensure estimates align with current design intent. Take ownership of the accuracy and completeness of all estimating deliverables. Create & Maintain Project Scopes Develop comprehensive scopes of work that clearly communicate project requirements to production teams and trade partners. Revise scopes as designs evolve and homeowner selections are finalized. Maintain organized, up-to-date documentation throughout the estimating process. Coordinate Documentation & Purchase Orders Prepare and maintain project documentation supporting estimating and purchasing activities. Respond to time-sensitive purchase order requests in collaboration with Project Managers. Build & Maintain Trade Partner Relationships Help identify, vet, and onboard qualified trade partners. Coordinate trade partner assignments throughout active projects. Communicate through site visits, meetings, phone calls, email, and text to support project success. Collaborate Across Departments Attend weekly Sales and Design meetings to receive new projects and review project budgets. Partner closely with Designers, Project Managers, and fellow Project Facilitators to keep projects progressing smoothly. Adapt quickly as project information evolves and homeowner decisions shape the design. What to Expect This position offers a healthy balance of focused independent work and collaborative teamwork. You'll typically experience: Independent estimating, budgeting, and scope development Weekly Sales & Design meetings to review new and active projects Bi-weekly Project Facilitation team meetings Regular communication with Designers and Project Managers Frequent interaction with trade partners through phone, email, text, and site visits Managing approximately 3-6 projects in various phases of design and estimating A fast-paced environment where priorities shift as projects evolve. $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
