We're looking for someone who wants to get in early, learn fast, and grow with a commercial construction company that is scaling hard in masonry restoration and waterproofing across metro Detroit. We are building for something much bigger than "business as usual." What this role is really about: You'll work inside the engine that helps us win projects. You'll support takeoffs, bid prep, document control, vendor follow-up, and estimate assembly. You'll learn how commercial jobs are priced, how risk is spotted, and how disciplined preconstruction creates profitable growth. This is not a role where you sit quietly and do the same thing forever. This is a role for someone who wants to grow into more responsibility as the company grows. What you'll do: Assist with quantity takeoffs and bid preparation Review plans, specs, and addenda Track vendor and subcontractor pricing Organize drawings, documents, and bid files Support estimate assembly and proposal preparation Help keep the estimating team accurate, clean, and on time Who will do well here: Someone highly organized and detail-driven Someone who learns quickly and follows through Someone who can handle deadlines without getting sloppy Someone who wants a career in commercial construction, not just a paycheck Someone who takes pride in helping a team win What we're looking for: 0-3 years of experience in construction, estimating, project coordination, engineering, architecture, or a related field preferred Strong communication and computer skills Comfortable working with spreadsheets, plans, and deadlines A coachable, accountable attitude
