Job Description Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine materials, labor, and equipment costs. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to align estimates with project goals. Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids to ensure cost efficiency and quality. Monitor project costs and update estimates as needed throughout the construction process. Provide detailed reports and presentations to stakeholders, including cost breakdowns and potential risks. Maintain an up-to-date database of pricing and industry trends to support accurate estimating. Assist in value engineering efforts to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate cost evaluation. Proficiency with estimating software and tools commonly used in the construction industry. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
