The Role:
As a Construction Services Estimating Intern, you will: Assist with bid solicitation, including organizing documents, engaging trade partners, and attending pre-bid meetings. Generate bid listings, quantity takeoffs, construction schedules, and detailed estimate reports. Contribute to bid day efforts by evaluating bids and identifying areas of risk and opportunity. Participate in job cost setups, project execution planning, and check-ins with on-site field teams.

Lansing, MI Grand Rapids, MI Qualifications:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in building construction management, civil engineering, or a related field. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with the capability to lead by example. Proactive problem-solving skills and a self-starter mentality. A strong work ethic with dedication to meeting deadlines. Ability to see the big picture while focusing on details. Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new software. Must be able to work full-time.

High emotional intelligence and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals. Proficiency in construction management software like ProCore, ViewPoint, or Microsoft Project. Familiarity with WinEst / OST A passion for innovation and problem-solving.
