Job Summary:
The Senior Estimator - Critical Infrastructure Group (CIG) is responsible for developing accurate and detailed quantity takeoffs for complex infrastructure projects. This role provides technical expertise, identifies material options, supports value engineering, and works closely with sales and Pre-Bid team to develop competitive bid strategies. The Senior Estimator acts as a subjectmatter resource and provides oversight and guidance to Estimator I and II personnel. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities Project Evaluation & Takeoff DevelopmentLeads quantity takeoffs for complex and large-scale infrastructure projects.

Interprets detailed plans, specifications, notes, and engineering drawings with a high level of accuracy.

Identifies specialty materials and evaluates material options according to project specifications.

Design Build SupportReviews drawings and design concepts to provide material takeoff.

Works with contractors and internal teams to propose alternatives that support cost savings and lead-time improvements.

Bid Strategy, Sales Support & Customer EngagementSupports development of advanced bid strategies with the sales team.

Leads pretakeoff and posttakeoff meetings to ensure clear communication and scope alignment.

Coordinates with contractors, engineers, and vendors to resolve complex material questions.

Leadership & MentorshipReviews and approves takeoff work completed by Estimators I and II.Provides regular coaching, training, and development guidance.

Acts as a technical resource for the estimating team.
