Clinton Township, MI We are a rapidly growing, full-service restoration company seeking an experienced Insurance Restoration Estimator to join our team. If you have a strong background in insurance claims, Xactimate estimating, and residential/commercial restoration, we'd like to speak with you. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships with customers and insurance professionals, and takes pride in writing accurate, detailed estimates.
Base Salary:
$55,000 - $65,000 + commission bonuses Responsibilities Inspect residential and commercial properties following water, fire, storm, mold, vehicle impact, and other property losses. Prepare accurate, detailed estimates using Xactimate . Create sketches, scopes of work, and photo documentation. Meet with homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients. Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters. Review insurance carrier estimates and prepare supplements when necessary. Coordinate with project managers to ensure projects are properly scoped and handed off. Track estimate approvals and assist in converting opportunities into completed projects. Maintain organized documentation within company software. Respond to emergency losses when needed. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of insurance restoration estimating experience. Advanced knowledge of Xactimate (required). Experience with water, fire, storm, and reconstruction estimating. Strong understanding of insurance claims processes. Ability to read construction plans and perform accurate measurements. Ability and willingness to inspect residential and commercial roofs, including walking roofs and working at heights while using company-provided fall protection and safety equipment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. IICRC certifications are a plus but not required.
