Responsible for taking technical plans, specifications, and project scope, turning them into accurate, detailed cost forecasts that guide bidding, budgeting, and project execution. The ideal candidate for this full-time position should have a minimum of three (3) years' experience with a background in estimating large scale bids for utility construction. This is a non-union position that will report directly to the Operations Manager. Responsibilities
  • Lifecycle Management - Ensure all bid submissions are complete, compliant, and delivered on time.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams

  • Creation and Maintaining of a Bid Library

Technical Knowledge:
understanding of electrical/mechanical systems, codes, and industry standards (Required with a minimum of 10 years' experience)

  • Highly Organized with proved ability to support multiple deadlines
  • Able to learn new systems quickly
  • Service-oriented and precise under deadline pressure Qualifications
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Required)
  • Familiarity with e-procurement portals and proposal automation
  • BidMaster Certification or APMP Foundation (Preferred)
  • The candidate must have experience reading blueprints, plans and specifications
  • Experience researching and acquiring sub-contractors through competitive, negotiable terms
  • Experienced in estimating time, labor, construction materials, and product costs to determine the overall cost for construction projects.
Pay:
From $75,000.00 per year
