Job Description
What We're Looking For:
A driven and innovative Estimator to assist Project Teams. The Fence estimator is responsible for creating project bids, solicitating and reviewing project proposals, and determining the costs associated with various Fencing projects throughout the region. A driven and innovative Project Manager to lead the project team to facilitate multiple Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural and Residential Projects. Be the bridge between the client, the Project Management team, and the Field Management team. Develop take-offs from client or company supplied construction documents, gather pricing from suppliers, and utilize CFS software and Excel spreadsheets. Work with ownership to lead the project team; be responsible for planning and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously. Responsible for planning and designating project resources, preparing budgets, and monitoring progress while keeping Grassland Solutions leadership informed from start to finish. Act as the liaison between the client and the project team to ensure the project is satisfactorily defined and implemented. Utilize an in-depth understanding of Grassland Solutions' processes and procedures to ensure projects are completed accurately, on-time and within budget. Monitor the cost on bids and determine success rates and improve bidding strategy and systems. Provide technical assistance to field team members with drawings, installation techniques.
Qualifications:
Experience with developing complete and accurate fencing estimates for Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural and Residential Projects. Experience with preparing comprehensive bid packages for clients. Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure. Proven working experience in project management. Oversee and report progress daily to the leadership team to ensure the projects are completed on time and within budget. Possession of a valid driver's license Ability to work as a part of a team
General Information:
Experience with basic Project Management and resource coordination, including estimating, planning, scheduling, cost management, materials/purchasing, operations and maintenance, and client-facing. Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as the project team. Meet with clients to capture project details and clarify specific requirements of each project. Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills. Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on analysis. Experience with tracking project performance, analyzing the project upon completion and during short- and long-term milestones. Ability to delegate project tasks to project team members, based on individual strengths, skill sets, and experience. Work on tight deadlines under pressure. Competency in Microsoft applications included Word, Excel, and Outlook. Manage project files, drawings, documents & records in our project system. Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills. Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays. Willing to work on some out-of-town projects. Additional duties as assigned. #hc263686
