Estimator East Bethel, MN 55011 From $93,600 a year - Full-time From $93,600 a year - Full-time We are a locally owned General Contracting, Commercial Union Construction Company currently seeking a full-time Estimator to join our team.

Role Responsibilities:

Visit properties to assess property improvement needs. Estimate project scope, timelines and costs. Create proposals for the company for our sourcewell contract. Effectively secure work project contract(s) with property owners. Communicate effectively with owners and residents regarding construction processes. As well as subcontractors and RAK staff. Hire sub-contractors. Secure building permits and meet with inspectors. Supervise construction processes. Collaborate with vendors regarding work orders and maintaining accountability. Explore opportunities for growth in related service lines. Participate in company meetings.

Ideal Candidate:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related industry and position. Motivated self-starter with strong work initiative. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong problem solving skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to utilize up-to-date technology. Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications. Understanding of building codes. Reliable transportation and necessary tools for use on the job. Positive Attitude. Ability to adapt to company processes and procedures. Ability to work with and utilize a Project Assistant.
