Estimating Engineer Eden Prairie, MN | Direct Hire | $75,000 - $95,000 Konik is partnering with a growing custom manufacturing company seeking an Estimating Engineer to support customer quoting, cost analysis, and manufacturing planning efforts. This role works closely with customers, sales, engineering, and operations teams to develop accurate cost estimates and deliver competitive proposals for custom-engineered products.
Estimating Engineer Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates and customer quotations based on drawings, specifications, material requirements, and manufacturing processes Review RFQs and collaborate with engineering and production teams to determine efficient manufacturing solutions Provide technical support to customers and internal sales teams throughout the quoting process Utilize ERP systems, CAD software, and customer portals to manage quoting activities and project information Source material and component pricing from suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships Track and prioritize multiple quote requests while meeting customer deadlines
Estimating Engineer Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred 3+ years of experience in estimating, manufacturing engineering, project engineering, cost analysis, or a similar role Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation Proficiency with ERP systems, estimating software, and Microsoft Office CAD experience and familiarity with manufacturing processes Aerospace, defense, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred Must be authorized to work in the
