Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator for a direct hire opportunity in Kansas City, MO, supporting complex electrical construction projects across industrial facilities, infrastructure, commercial, public, and federal work. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for an experienced electrical estimating professional who can lead the bid process from initial document review through final submission with accuracy, confidence, and minimal oversight. This opportunity offers strong visibility with executive leadership, a collaborative construction environment, and the chance to influence estimating standards, mentor developing team members, and support high-value project pursuits. The role is well suited for someone who values technical precision, teamwork, process improvement, and long-term career stability within a supportive leadership structure. Key Responsibilities Lead full-lifecycle electrical estimating efforts for design-build, design-bid-build, and CM-at-risk project delivery models. Review plans, specifications, bid documents, and addenda to develop accurate scopes of work and complete electrical estimates. Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for conduit, wire, switchgear, distribution, lighting, controls, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems. Build detailed cost estimates using Accubid, including labor units, crew composition, productivity factors, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Solicit, level, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes, attend pre-bid walks, resolve RFIs, and prepare complete bid packages. Support project turnover, post-bid buyout, change orders, value engineering, historical cost updates, and mentoring of junior estimating staff.

Compensation and Benefits Salary range:

$80,000 to $125,000 per year. Direct hire opportunity. Full-time, on-site role in Kansas City, MO. Occasional site visits and pre-bid walks.
