Project Manager / Estimator - Structural Steel Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager / Estimator to oversee structural steel fabrication and erection projects from estimating through project completion. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience managing structural steel projects, with additional experience strongly preferred. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and bid packages for structural steel fabrication and erection projects Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine project scope and pricing Manage projects from award through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and client communication Coordinate with fabrication shops, field crews, vendors, and general contractors to ensure successful project execution Track project costs, change orders, and overall profitability Attend project meetings, site visits, and customer discussions as needed Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience managing structural steel fabrication and erection projects Experience with estimating and project management in the steel construction industry Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications Strong understanding of fabrication, erection, and construction processes Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating/project management software preferred Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates Bonus opportunities based on performance Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for long-term growth and advancement Send resume to mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com for more information
