Missouri , St Charles Job Description Sheet Metal Estimator Position Available As a Sheet Metal Estimator, you'll play a key role in the project development and bid preparation. Your responsibility will be to accurately estimate costs associated with piping projects, ensuring competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project plans and collaborate with project teams to gather necessary information. Prepare detailed cost estimates for sheet metal projects including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs. Utilize estimating software and historical cost data for accurate estimates. Coordinate bid submissions and maintain vendor relationships for competitive pricing. Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a construction-related field. 5+ years of experience as a Sheet Metal Estimator in construction or related industries. Proficiency in estimating software and strong knowledge of industry standards. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
