In this energetic and fast-paced position, you will leverage your expertise in electrical systems, construction management, and estimating software to deliver accurate, competitive bids that drive project wins. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will ensure seamless collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale electrical projects while honing your skills in cost management, project estimation, and electrical blueprint interpretation. Duties Review and interpret construction drawings, electrical schematics, and technical specifications to develop precise estimates. Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems, including material costs, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services. Utilize estimating software and NEC standards to generate competitive bids aligned with project scope and client expectations. Conduct thorough construction site reviews to assess logistical considerations and potential challenges impacting project costs. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing while maintaining quality standards. Manage project budgets by monitoring costs throughout the bidding process and adjusting estimates as needed for accuracy. Ensure all estimates comply with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and other relevant electrical building codes for safety and compliance. Experience Proven experience in electrical estimating within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and building codes. Solid knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA 70 compliance requirements, and electrical blueprint reading. Construction site experience coupled with construction management or project management background is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to review construction drawings thoroughly and interpret electrical schematics accurately. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, contract negotiations, and team collaboration.
