This is a full time W-2 position paying a $44,000 base salary plus 5% commission on gross labor for every job you sell. There is no cap and no quota to clear before commission starts. Realistic first year earnings are $69,000 to $89,000 depending on volume. You will be the first point of contact for homeowners, builders, and designers. We need someone who can measure and bid a job correctly the first time and who can close without discounting our work. Responsibilities
  • Run inbound leads and scheduled appointments for residential and custom builder projects
  • Perform in home measurements and on site takeoffs
  • Read blueprints and produce takeoffs from plans for new construction bids
  • Prepare accurate estimates for hardwood, engineered, LVP, LVT, laminate, tile, and sand and finish work
  • Price labor and material, account for subfloor prep and site conditions, and build the scope of work
  • Present proposals to homeowners, builders, and designers and close the sale
  • Manage leads, follow ups, and pipeline in our CRM
  • Hand off sold jobs to production with a clear, complete scope
  • Develop new builder, designer, and trade relationships Required Qualifications
  • Flooring industry experience. You know installation methods, material types, and what actually drives cost on a job
  • Blueprint reading and takeoff experience
  • Experience measuring in occupied homes and presenting to customers face to face
  • Proven ability to close, not just quote
  • Strong math and attention to detail. An estimating error costs real money
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Comfortable with a CRM and basic computer work Preferred Qualifications
  • Sand and finish estimating experience
  • Existing relationships with builders, designers, or realtors in southwest Missouri
  • Experience with Go High Level or a similar CRM
  • Experience quoting high end custom home projects Compensation
  • $38,000
  • $45,000 base salary
  • 5% commission on gross labor billed, uncapped, no quota
  • $1,500 bonus for each new builder, designer, or trade account you bring in that produces over $50,000 in billed labor in its first year
  • Guaranteed minimum commission during your first 90 days while your pipeline builds
