R & W Electric Co. is a reputable Electrical Contractor dedicated to delivering high-quality service and support. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks and supports multiple departments across the company. The salary range chosen is an average range, the actual range could be lower or higher depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate, competitive, and timely estimates for a wide range of electrical construction projects.
• Identify opportunities, manage bid workload, and collaborate with project management team.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Preform detailed quantity takeoffs for electrical systems and components.
• Prepare complete and accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Utilize estimating software (Accubid preferred) to develop and manage estimates.
• Solicit, review, and analyze pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist with bid submissions, clarifications, and negotiations.
• Maintain organized estimating files and cost data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, or other related fields is preferred.
• Electrical experience is required.
• Must have a strong math background.
• 2 years' experience in construction estimating is preferred.
• AutoCAD/Revit experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications is required.
• Viewpoint Construction Software experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
