Whitefish We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join a growing preconstruction team in Helena. This is a great opportunity for someone with construction estimating or takeoff experience who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with plans, numbers, and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Complete quantity takeoffs and detailed estimates for residential, multi-family, and commercial projects Price framing and carpentry scopes Complete wall panel takeoffs and coordinate with the design team Solicit and level subcontractor and vendor bids Build and maintain unit-cost and assembly libraries Prepare clean, complete project budgets Review plans carefully and identify potential issues before they become costly Work closely with the preconstruction and project teams to ensure accurate estimates

Qualifications:

Previous construction estimating or takeoff experience required Ability to read and understand a full set of construction plans Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers Comfortable using digital takeoff and estimating software Experience with Bluebeam and/or Buildertrend is a plus Organized and able to work effectively under bid deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
