Job Description
Estimator, Part Time (3 Days a Week) Mountain Vista Window Washing — Boone, NC We're looking for one person to handle our estimates.
Day To Day Schedule:
Somebody calls or fills out a form wanting to know what it'd cost to get their windows cleaned, their gutters done, or their house washed. You take the company truck out to their place, walk the property, count the windows, measure the gutters and the siding, and take a good set of photos. Then you punch it into our pricing calculator, write the quote up, send it over, and call them back a day or so later to answer questions and ask for the job.Time Expectations:
Every quote goes out within 24 hours of the request. Being the first company back to a homeowner with a real number is a big reason we win the jobs we win, and this role is responsable for that.Experiance:
You don't need to have written an estimate before. We'll teach you our services, our pricing, and how we talk to clients. If you're organized, you show up, and you're good with people at their front door, we can work with that.Scheudle:
Three - Five days a week, daytime hours. We'll sort out which days together once we know your situation. If you want more, there's commission work available for bringing in new clients through cold calling and networking. What you'd be doing Getting out to properties quickly and getting every quote back out within 24 hours Measuring the job: window counts by size and story, gutter footage, roof and siding square footage, decks and driveways Taking careful notes and plenty of photos at every site. The photos go right on the quote, and they're what shows the client we actually looked at their house. Running the numbers through our pricing calculator on your phone. It does the math, you just have to feed it good information. Writing up and sending a clear, detailed quote Calling the client back after the visit, walking them through it, and asking for the work Leaving our brochures behind, and keeping an eye out for the neighbors' houses while you're out there What we hand you on day one A company truck, so you're not putting miles and mud on your own vehicle. The pricing calculator, so you're never guessing at a number. Printed handout material for every visit. And real training before we turn you loose. What you need to bring A valid driver's license and a clean driving record, since you're in our truck with our name on the side Comfort with a phone and personal laptop. That's where the calculator, the photos, and the notes all live. You genuinely like talking to people. A good chunk of this job is building a connection with the homewoners and talking knowlagably about our services. An eye for detail. A missed dormer or a bad window count costs us real money. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. The ability to walk a full property and get up a ladder to look at gutters and roofline About us: We're a local window cleaning, gutter cleaning, and pressure and soft washing company out of Boone. Five trucks, over 200 five-star reviews, IWCA and PWNA members, and a Business of the Year award.
