Job Description
Pay:
$55,000-$60,000 annually Position Overview We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Estimator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for developing accurate project budgets for commercial and residential projects and analyzing bid opportunities, and estimation. The ideal candidate has experience reviewing construction documents, performing quantity takeoffs, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to develop competitive proposals. Primary Responsibilities Develop comprehensive cost estimates for commercial landscape installation projects Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to perform detailed quantity takeoffs Evaluate labor requirements, equipment usage, material costs, and subcontractor pricing Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams to obtain current pricing information Analyze bid packages and verify compliance with project requirements and scope Maintain accurate records of proposals, estimates, and project documentation Use Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, to organize, track, and analyze estimating data Assist with bid preparation and proposal submission deadlines Required Qualifications Two to five years of experience in landscape estimating, construction estimating, or a related field Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications; advanced Excel skills are a plus Experience using estimating platforms and digital takeoff software Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams Preferred Qualifications but not required Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline Previous experience estimating commercial landscape construction projects Competitive compensation based on experience Medical insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Opportunities for career growth and professional development Supportive, team-oriented work environment .Work Location:
