Underground Utility Structure Designer Location:

Willard, NC This position is responsible for designing precast underground utility structures based on project plans, municipal specifications, and production requirements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interpreting construction drawings, working with dimensions and layouts, and collaborating with sales, engineering, and production teams to deliver accurate and buildable designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review construction plans, utility drawings, and project specifications and design accordingly.
• Design precast underground utility structures.
• Ensure designs meet customer, municipal, and manufacturing requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and drawing revisions.
• Support production planning by providing complete and accurate drawings.

Education & Qualifications:

• Experience using 2D AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of dimensions, scales, elevations, and plan interpretation.
• Experience working in engineering, construction, architectural, manufacturing, or production environments.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
