Salary $125,000 plus- Depending on Experience As an Environmental Senior Project Manager and Estimator, you will be responsible for overseeing environmental remediation projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Manage environmental projects from planning to completion. Ø Monitor Supervisors daily paperwork including a logbook, chain of custody form, worksheets, manifest, tailgate safety forms and job hazard analysis. Ø Oversee budgets, schedules and field operations to ensure compliance and efficiency. Ø Conduct site visits to enforce all Federal, State and City asbestos regulations, including OSHA, EPA and AHERA guidelines, company policies and procedures. Ø Act as a leader, interacting with our supervisors, field workers, management, administration team, clients, ensuring that teamwork and safety are our number one priority. Ø Prepare and review project documentation and submittals. Ø Conduct job walks for estimation and project planning. Ø Conduct job kick-off meetings, participate in daily group calls with supervisors and management, and perform daily on-site evaluations to monitor progress and ensure compliance.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ø Not required but the ability to speak Spanish. Ø Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, sit or stand for long periods of time. Ø Availability and willingness to be available to respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays. Ø Ability to complete job paperwork including but not limited to; tailgate safety briefing, waste manifests, daily worksheets, logbooks, trip logs, chain of custody forms and other forms as directed. Ø Ability to read and understand Federal and State regulations. Ø Willing to travel between locations and/or multiple job sites during the day, overnight travel is also required. Ø Being on time for job assignments is a must, with a start time dependent on customers' needs and locations. Ø All listed licenses are not necessary, but the employee is required to attend all scheduled training classes as well as online assigned training as directed to be eligible for all future work assignments in different states. Ø Ability to work in high and low temperatures outside and sometimes work in conditions where noise levels are moderate to loud. Ø Ability to review Project Bid Packets and submit pricing in a timely manner. Ø Ability to review and submit Notifications and Variances for responsible agencies inNE, NJ, NY & NYC.
Ø Ability to read and create Health And Safety Plans per customer requirements. Ø Employment is contingent upon successful background checks and drug screening. Ø Ability to work on Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Ø Ability to read an Asbestos/Lead Bulk Sampling & Analysis ReportQUALIFICATIONS
May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has thorough knowledge of asbestos regulations and safety protocol. Has strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under supervision, or in an independent situation. Typically reports to an operations manager.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 1.
