Job Description

A busy commercial plumbing company is seeking a detail-oriented Plumbing Estimator to join our growing team. The estimator will review project documents, prepare accurate material and labor takeoffs, obtain vendor pricing, and develop competitive proposals for commercial and multifamily plumbing projects.
Responsibilities:
Review plans, specifications, fixture schedules, and bid documents Prepare accurate material and labor takeoffs Request and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Identify project requirements, exclusions, and potential discrepancies Prepare detailed estimates and proposals Track bid deadlines and maintain organized project records Communicate with vendors, and internal project teams Assist with bid revisions, value engineering, and project handoff
Qualifications:
Plumbing experience is preferred Construction estimating or general construction experience is a plus Strong mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Willingness to learn commercial plumbing systems and estimating procedures This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator or a motivated construction professional interested in developing a career in commercial plumbing estimating.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
