$160,000 Overview A well-established electrical construction organization is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to support pre-construction and estimating efforts across utility, industrial, and infrastructure projects. This is a key role responsible for developing accurate cost estimates that drive competitive bidding and successful project execution. This is a fully onsite position offering a competitive salary, strong benefits, and long-term growth potential within a stable, reputable contractor. Position Overview The Senior Electrical Estimator plays a critical role in the pre-construction process by preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates. This individual will analyze project documents, perform quantity take-offs, and collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure estimates reflect project scope, risk, and cost considerations. Key Responsibilities Estimating & Pre-Construction Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and project scope documents Perform detailed quantity take-offs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor scope Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and bid proposals including labor, materials, equipment, overhead, and profit Assist with bid submissions, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements and deadlines Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners Ensure all pricing reflects current market conditions and project requirements Project Collaboration Coordinate with project management, engineering, and field teams to validate assumptions Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and job walks Support change order pricing and estimate revisions as needed Data & Process Improvement Track historical cost data and market trends Continuously improve estimating accuracy and competitiveness Support pre-construction and project kickoff planning Qualifications Education & Experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred) 10+ years of electrical estimating experience in a construction or contracting environment Experience with utility, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred Familiarity with take-off and estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff) Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and mathematical skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
