Restoration Project Manager / Estimator Right on Time Restoration Pennsauken, NJ Job Details Full-time $60,000 - $75,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Company truck Qualifications Customer communication Water damage restoration Mold remediation Driver's License Time management Full Job Description Job description: We are seeking an experienced Restoration Project Manager / Field Manager to oversee residential and commercial restoration projects from the initial property visit through completion. This is a hands-on, client-facing role offering competitive base compensation plus commission paid on every closed job for someone who understands the restoration industry and can inspect properties, close jobs, develop scopes of work, coordinate field crews, communicate with insurance carriers, and help ensure projects are properly documented and invoiced. We provide the leads and appointments - you inspect, estimate, and close. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, comfortable making decisions in the field, and capable of managing multiple active projects at once. Responsibilities Visit properties for mold remediation, water mitigation, fire/smoke restoration, and related restoration services Meet with property owners and evaluate project needs Explain recommended services, pricing, and next steps to clients Close and secure jobs following inspections and consultations Develop clear and detailed scopes of work for field technicians Assign work and communicate project expectations to technicians Conduct jobsite check-ins throughout active projects to ensure work is progressing according to scope Identify scope changes or additional work needed and communicate them to the office and client Review jobsite photos, documentation, equipment usage, and technician updates Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, insurance adjusters, carriers, and internal staff Assist with insurance claims documentation and carrier communication Follow up with adjusters regarding estimates, approvals, supplements, and payments when needed Review estimates and invoices for accuracy before submission when needed Communicate with clients regarding invoices, deductibles, deposits, balances, and payments Coordinate with the office regarding scheduling, estimates, billing, and project status Help ensure projects move efficiently from initial inspection through final payment and closure Qualifications Previous experience in the restoration, mitigation, remediation, construction, roofing, public adjusting, or property insurance industry Restoration industry experience strongly preferred Experience working with insurance carriers and adjusters Experience managing field crews or subcontractors Ability to create and communicate clear scopes of work Strong sales and closing ability Comfortable discussing pricing and collecting payments from clients Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Reliable and able to consistently attend scheduled client appointments Flexibility to respond to after-hours, weekend, or emergency restoration jobs when needed Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Comfortable traveling to jobsites throughout the service area Preferred Experience Water mitigation and mold remediation experience Xactimate or insurance estimating experience Experience reviewing restoration estimates and invoices Familiarity with insurance claim documentation and supplement processes IICRC certifications are a plus - we pay for IICRC certification Compensation & Benefits Company work vehicle provided Competitive base compensation Commission paid on every closed job Opportunity for growth as the company continues to expand What We're Looking For We need someone who can take ownership of projects without requiring constant supervision.
