Mid to Senior Level About Cardinal Electric Cardinal Electric is a rapidly growing electrical contracting company specializing in high-end residential, commercial, industrial, and large-scale multi-family construction projects. With a strong pipeline of work across New Jersey and surrounding markets, we are looking to expand our estimating team with a driven and detail-oriented professional. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of projects including multi-family developments, warehouses, site work, and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate is highly organized, understands construction documents thoroughly, and can confidently manage multiple bids at once. Key Responsibilities Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and bid documents Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for all electrical systems Prepare complete project estimates including: Lighting & power Fire alarm systems Site lighting and underground utilities EV infrastructure and specialty systems Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Develop labor projections and job cost breakdowns Identify scope gaps, value engineering opportunities, and risk factors Coordinate with project managers and leadership during bid process Assist in preparing proposals, scopes of work, and bid submissions Maintain organized records of estimates and project data Qualifications 3+ years of electrical estimating experience (preferred) Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience with multi-family, commercial, or industrial projects preferred Proficiency in estimating software and Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance-based bonuses Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding company Exposure to large-scale and high-profile projects Strong team environment with leadership involvement Why Join Cardinal Electric Fast-growing company with consistent project pipeline Diverse project portfolio (residential, commercial, industrial) Opportunity to play a key role in company growth Direct access to leadership and decision-making

Pay:

$85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
