Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented person to manage construction projects. The role of the Project Manager Estimator Lumber and Building Materials requires excellent organizational and communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
Assist management in planning and scheduling project timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
Communication:
Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members.
Resource Management:
Assist in managing project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient use and minimize waste.
Quality Control:
Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and client specifications.
Problem-Solving:
Identify and address potential issues or delays promptly, proposing solutions to keep the project on track.
Safety Compliance:
Support the enforcement of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Financial Tracking:
Assist in tracking project expenses and managing budgets, ensuring cost-effective project delivery.
Client Relations:
Help maintain strong relationships with clients by providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or queries.
Qualifications:
Preference give to those with experience in construction project management or a related role. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in the construction industry. Knowledge and understanding of the LBM industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with both building materials supply and general contracting. Familiarity with construction management software.
