With a focus on accuracy and efficiency, this role involves detailed project estimating, liaising with stakeholders, and contributing to our sustainability goals. This position is vital in driving the development of cost-effective solutions that meet client and company expectations. Responsibilities Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications and goals. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather cost data and project requirements. Utilize advanced estimating software to improve accuracy and timing of project bids. Lead the preparation and submission of project proposals and bids. Conduct risk analysis on potential projects, advising management on financial impact and mitigation strategies. Stay updated with market trends affecting project costs and sustainability practices. Required Skills Proficiency in estimating software such as Timberline or HCSS Heavy Bid. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Knowledge of construction methods and technologies. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
