Job Description Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in electrical estimating, including quantity take-offs, bid preparation, and proposal development. Experience in cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis for electrical construction projects. Background in electrical contracting operations, with understanding of field practices and project delivery methods. Solid knowledge of electricity principles and electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and controls. Education or training in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency with estimating software and standard office applications (e.g., Excel, PDF markup tools, project management platforms). Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., NEC and local regulations). Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across project teams and with external partners. Previous experience in a senior or lead estimating role within the electrical construction industry is highly beneficial.
