Schedule:
Initially in-office with potential to move to hybrid Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Electric Distribution Designer to support electric distribution projects throughout Ohio. This position will be responsible for developing detailed utility construction drawings, reviewing technical and field information, and coordinating with project teams, consultants, and utility owners. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of electric distribution design experience, with previous exposure to make-ready/joint-use, pole loading, and third-party attachment work highly preferred. Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and modify detailed electric distribution construction drawingsSupport distribution projects throughout OhioPerform design work associated with make-ready, joint-use, pole loading, and third-party attachmentsReview field information, measurements, sketches, existing plans, and mapping to develop accurate designsCoordinate with project teams, consultants, utility owners, and other technical professionalsReview technical documents, utility standards, specifications, and project requirementsPrepare accurate design documentation, calculations, sketches, and reportsManage multiple projects while meeting quality, schedule, and client requirementsQualifications2-4 years of relevant experienceElectric distribution design experience requiredMake-ready and/or joint-use experience preferredExperience with pole loading and third-party utility work preferredAssociate degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline preferredExperience developing construction drawings for utility or infrastructure projectsStrong attention to detail and ability to interpret utility plans, standards, and specificationsStrong communication and coordination skillsSoftware preferred:
