Maintain a comprehensive bid log, providing real-time status updates to leadership to ensure strategic alignment and resource allocation.Executive & Owner Liaison:
Interface directly with project owners, partners, and project managers, actively participating in high-level meetings to drive project objectives.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Facilitate bi-weekly project briefings with the entire team to ensure transparency and operational continuity.Proposal Development:
Partner closely with owners during the pre-construction phase, conducting site walk-throughs to ensure accurate bid preparation and tailored proposal development.Supply Chain Coordination:
Manage professional relationships and technical communications with subcontractors and specialty suppliers, including concrete, steel, joist, precast, and masonry trades.Market Focus:
Specialize in a high-value portfolio consisting primarily of private sector and negotiated contracts. 5+ years of dedicated experience in commercial construction estimating or preconstruction services.Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred, though equivalent industry experience will be strongly considered.Plan Proficiency:
Ability to perform rapid, high-accuracy plan reviews and comprehensive drawing evaluations.Local Expertise:
Working knowledge of regional jurisdictions, building codes, and municipal review processes is a significant advantage.Organizational Excellence:
Exceptional attention to detail paired with robust organizational and multi-tasking capabilities.Communication Skills:
Advanced oral, written, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to manage interpersonal relationships effectively at all project levels.
