Job Description Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates. Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and budgets. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure cost efficiency. Maintain and update a database of construction costs for future reference. Prepare and present comprehensive bid packages for approval. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering options. Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with the approved budget. Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and labor rates. Effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with clients and teams. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in cost analysis.
