Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Estimator / Process Engineer / Inspector to join our team and drive our manufacturing excellence forward. In this role, you will evaluate project requirements, develop accurate cost estimates, and route efficient manufacturing processes. Your expertise will help optimize production workflows, improve product quality, and support our commitment to continuous improvement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects involving Manual Machining, CNC programming, Press Manufacturing and more! Responsibilities Analyze project specifications and technical drawings to develop precise cost estimates for manufacturing projects. Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to review project scope, identify potential challenges, and establish realistic timelines. Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo to create schematics and detailed process layouts. Design and optimize manufacturing processes incorporating lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Conduct root cause analysis on production issues and implement corrective actions to improve process reliability. Develop detailed process documentation including schematics, tooling requirements, and assembly instructions aligned with our quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience in scheduling, routing or manufacturing estimation within a machine shop environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machine shop manufacturing Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo; experience with CAM programming is a plus. Familiarity with industrial equipment including CNC machines and industrial controls. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), schematics development, and schematic wiring diagrams. Ability to perform root cause analysis using tools like 5 Whys or Fishbone diagrams; experience with continuous improvement methodologies is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams effectively. Pay:
$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
