Job Description

Job Summary American Scaffolding, Inc. (ASI) is seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial access projects from initial client contact to final tear-down. In this role, you will build and maintain key client relationships, design safe and cost-effective scaffolding solutions, estimate labor and materials, and oversee execution on-site. If you bring hands-on construction expertise, strong spatial awareness, and a passion for driving business growth, ASI offers an aggressive compensation plan with uncapped earning potential. Key Responsibilities Project Estimating & Design Field incoming project inquiries, conduct site inspections, and assess specific access needs. Design safe, efficient layout plans for all of our product offerings, including but not limited to scaffolding, swing stages, mast climbers, and transport platforms. Quantify required materials, labor hours, tools, and subcontractor needs to produce profitable, competitive bids. Deliver clear, professional proposals directly to contractors and commercial clients. Project Execution & Management Manage project lifecycles from initial site safety orientation through job completion and equipment removal. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, engineers, and field foremen regarding safety and structural design. Resolve on-site challenges or customer disputes in a prompt, professional manner. Account Management & Business Development Grow existing customer accounts through trusted relationships and expert product guidance. Identify new market opportunities and target contractors across the region to expand ASI's footprint. Track sales pipelines, client contacts, and site meetings in company records. Qualifications & Requirements Experience & Technical Skills 3-5 years of commercial construction field experience is preferred. Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards (1926.451), scaffolding systems, swing stage equipment, and mast climbers. Proficiency in basic math and geometry (calculating areas, volumes, load requirements, and labor margins). Proficient with standard office software (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Physical Requirements & Environmental Factors Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolding; navigate tight, confined, or elevated spaces. Ability to lift, adjust, or maneuver up to 125 lbs as needed during site surveys or emergency adjustments. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, active construction environments, and high-noise sites. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to travel to local and regional job sites.

Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:

$60,000

•$100,000 / year (commensurate with experience)

Commission Structure:

Uncapped commission tied to project performance and sales ($20,000

•70,000+ expected average)
