SUMMARY Looking for someone eager to learn and help facilitate the growth of the business by preparing and submitting quote requests in a timely manner. Able to research and determine feasibility of new products being quoted. Responsible to plan, manage, oversee and coordinate all aspects of Project Design / Development. Must have excellent communication skills and can work effectively with top management, team members and customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
Prepares RFQ's (Request for Quotes) using custom designed format and process Communicates and collects required information from customers to generate an accurate quote and documents all communications for future reference Reviews and determines the feasibility of the request with others internally, to decide if we can and should move forward Able to generate proposals and specifications and review with existing and potential new clients Works effectively with COO and VP of Operations Routinely follows-up on the progress of all RFQs and will provide regular status updates Maintains files on all RFQs that are not awarded or no quoted by Joslyn, for reference at a later date As Project Manager, works effectively to add awarded quotes to the list of projects and transition for Project management Assures the accurate, efficient and timely processing of all new projects Gathers information and compiles reports when necessary for management via scheduled meetings or when requested Has the ability to break down projects into tasks and create timelines and benchmarks Tracks and monitors projects and can provide a status update daily Ensures that the necessary steps are followed and approvals are given before product is released to production Communicates effectively both externally and internally Checks and reviews the initial customer purchase order for accuracy and ensures necessary information is communicated to others as deemed appropriate Communicates and documents potential problems that may develop with products and discusses risks and opportunities with applicable personnel Inputs applicable customer/client information into Corporate ERP System Ensures that accurate information is entered into Corporate ERP System for item creation and BOM development Ensures that projects follow ISO guidelines and that the necessary documents are maintained and filed to show compliancy to ISO and JMC requirements Provides support to Chief Operating Officer and can provide an accurate status update of related information Works with COO and outside Marketing company on new online marketing initiatives Is well organized and can keep track of daily tasks making them available for easy retrieval Performs other duties as deemed appropriate

Excellent research skills for the development of ideas and processes for new products. Has excellent managerial communications and competitive intelligence. Can identify and select materials needed for new product development. Works and communicates effectively with customers and vendors and motivates employees at all levels. Can multitask and handle frequent interruptions with the ability to support necessary business hours to meet customer and business needs.
EDUCATION
Business Degree with 5 years minimum related experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Able to read, write, analyze and interpret drawings as well as utilize available CAD software as needed
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Must be able to read and interpret necessary documents required for the job.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel. Must have the ability to learn and properly utilize the company's ERP program and engineering software.
REASONING ABILITY
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables if and when they occur. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY
Daily and exemplary attendance and punctuality are required for this position. Expected to be at work during office hours (7:30am - 4pm) and expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
