Production Planner/Estimator Location:

Willoughby, OH Job Description:

The Production Planner/Estimator will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules for construction projects. This includes working with project managers, subcontractors, and additional internal and external team-members to ensure that all tasks are properly scheduled and completed on time. The Pre-Construction Scheduler will also be responsible for identifying potential scheduling conflicts and developing solutions to mitigate them. The Pre-Construction Scheduler is an onsite position, located in beautiful Mentor, Ohio at the Merritt headquarters

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain project schedules using scheduling software Work with project managers and subcontractors to ensure that all tasks are properly scheduled Identify potential scheduling conflicts and develop solutions to mitigate them Communicate schedule updates to project stakeholders Provide regular reports on project progress and schedule status Assist in the development of project budgets and resource plans Ensure that all scheduling activities comply with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred 5+ years of experience in construction planning and scheduling Proficiency in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
