Job Description Job Description Job Description Estimator Join a growing commercial construction organization that delivers complex projects across a variety of market sectors. The Estimator plays a critical role in evaluating project opportunities, developing accurate cost projections, and supporting successful project execution from preconstruction through award. This position works closely with operations, project management, subcontractors, and clients to ensure competitive and profitable bids.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects Analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals Collaborate with operations teams to develop construction approaches and execution strategies Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client discussions as needed Assist with budgeting, conceptual estimating, and feasibility studies during preconstruction Maintain accurate estimating databases and historical cost information Support project handoff activities to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to operations
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of estimating experience in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or construction-related environments Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and project delivery processes Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents Proficiency with estimating software, takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office applications Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple pursuits and meet tight deadlines Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with project teams, and helping secure high-quality projects that drive company growth and long-term success.
