Position Overview:

Jackson Streets is seeking a skilled Sales Estimator with the expertise to navigate the mechanical trade industry confidently. This position requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and the ability to foster strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is well-versed in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, construction, boilers, chillers, and preventive maintenance of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating:

Prepare thorough and accurate project estimates across the mechanical trade industry. The ability to quickly assess job sites and deliver precise, timely quotes is essential.

Sales:

Utilize your industry expertise and strong interpersonal skills to sell preventative maintenance contracts and additional services. With an uncapped commission structure, your earning potential is limited only by your ambition.

Client Interaction:

Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships, consistently ensuring their needs are met and expectations surpassed.

Problem-solving:

Research and recommend solutions for renovations, retrofits, and equipment replacement projects, providing clients with clear, actionable options.

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the mechanical trade industry, including HVAC, electrical, construction, boilers, chillers, or plumbing.

Sales and Estimating:

Demonstrated track record in estimating and sales within the industry, with the ability to generate and close service project and preventative maintenance contract sales.

Technical Skills:

Robust technical background with the ability to comprehend complex mechanical systems and deliver precise estimates.

Communication:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and management.

Personality:

A proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a passion for sales. Must demonstrate a customer-focused approach and excel at building lasting relationships.
