Full-Time Glassco Supply is seeking an experienced Commercial Glazing Estimator to join our growing team. This position is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial glass and glazing projects throughout Oklahoma and the surrounding region. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial glazing systems, construction drawings, specifications, material takeoffs, and the complete bidding process. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional who can evaluate projects, identify risks, and help Glassco pursue profitable opportunities. Primary Responsibilities Review architectural drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid documents. Prepare detailed material and labor takeoffs for commercial glazing projects. Estimate storefront, curtain wall, entrances, aluminum windows, glass, mirrors, and related glazing systems. Obtain and evaluate pricing from manufacturers, vendors, and subcontractors. Prepare complete and competitive proposals within required deadlines. Identify scope gaps, exclusions, alternates, and potential project risks. Submit RFIs when bid documents require clarification. Review project schedules, bonding requirements, tax status, wage requirements, and other bid conditions. Maintain organized estimating files, bid records, and follow-up information. Track submitted bids and communicate with general contractors regarding bid status. Participate in bid reviews and project turnover meetings with management and project teams. Assist with value-engineering options and scope revisions when requested. Build and maintain positive relationships with general contractors, vendors, architects, and industry partners. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of commercial glazing estimating experience. Working knowledge of storefront, curtain wall, entrances, aluminum windows, glass, and related glazing products. Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, elevations, details, schedules, and specifications. Experience completing material and labor takeoffs. Strong mathematical, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple bids and meet firm deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PDF review software. Valid driver's license and a dependable work history. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. Preferred Qualifications Experience with WinBid Pro, Bluebeam, or similar estimating software. Existing relationships with commercial general contractors and glazing manufacturers. Knowledge of Oklahoma commercial construction markets. Experience with negotiated work, value engineering, and project budgeting. Familiarity with prevailing-wage, tax-exempt, bonded, and public construction projects.
