Beaverton, OR Job Details Part-time $25 - $28 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Customer service Residential construction experience Proposal writing Attention to detail Organizational skills Full Job Description We are a small, established general contracting company looking for an experienced Part-Time Construction Estimator to assist with estimating residential construction and maintenance projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with construction experience who enjoys the estimating side of the business and is looking for flexible, part-time work. Responsibilities Review project scopes, plans, photos, and site conditions Prepare accurate estimates for labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment Obtain and compare vendor and subcontractor pricing Perform site visits as needed to evaluate projects and gather information Prepare detailed proposals and estimates for clients Work with the owner and project/maintenance team to ensure estimates accurately reflect the scope of work Follow up on estimates and make adjustments as project details change Maintain organized records of estimates and project costs Qualifications Previous experience in construction estimating Strong understanding of residential construction, repairs, and general contracting Ability to read plans and understand project scopes Knowledge of construction materials, labor requirements, and subcontractor pricing Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates Good communication and customer service skills Proficiency with computers and estimating/accounting software is a plus
