Job Description Job Description Job Description Position Summary Are you an experienced construction estimator who is also skilled in selling, building relationships, and winning projects? Do you enjoy meeting with clients, walking projects, developing scopes of work, preparing detailed estimates, and turning opportunities into successful construction projects? Summit Reconstruction & Restoration is looking for an experienced Construction Sales Estimator to join our team and play a key role in growing our business. This is not a traditional estimating-only position. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing estimates, selling rebuild projects, and working with our production teams to ensure projects are successfully completed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and construction projects. Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, facility managers, adjusters, subcontractors, and other key industry contacts. Identify and pursue new reconstruction and rebuild opportunities. Build relationships with commercial and multifamily property management organizations. Take project handoffs from mitigation teams and identify opportunities for reconstruction services. Conduct property inspections, site visits, and project walkthroughs. Evaluate damage and existing conditions to develop accurate scopes of work. Prepare detailed construction estimates using Xactimate. Develop proposals and present project solutions to clients. Follow-up on estimates and actively work to close projects. Coordinate with clients and internal teams regarding project scope, budget, schedule, and expectations. Manage sold projects from estimating and contract through completion and closeout. Coordinate and direct internal crews and subcontractors. Monitor project budgets, labor, materials, and production schedules. Help ensure projects are completed profitably, on schedule, and to client's expectations. Communicate changes, challenges, and project needs to clients and leadership. Maintain accurate project documentation and estimating records. Assist with developing and maintaining subcontractor relationships. Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, project profitability, and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications 4+ years of construction experience. 4+ years of experience preparing estimates using Xactimate (must have!) . 3+ years of construction project management experience. Experience in commercial, multifamily, restoration, reconstruction, or related construction. Experience working directly with clients and property management organizations. Demonstrated ability to sell construction or reconstruction projects. Additional Requirements Must be able to pass a background check and reference check. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel locally to jobsites, client properties, and meetings as needed. Ability to work in an office, construction site, and field environment Prior experience working with large regional or national multifamily property management organizations is strongly preferred.
