A well-established local electrical contractor is looking to add an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to their team. The company has a strong backlog of local commercial and industrial projects and is looking for someone who can independently manage estimates and help the company win new work. This is a great opportunity for an experienced estimator who knows the local market and wants to take on a key role with an established local contractor.

Responsibilities:

Lead estimates for local commercial and industrial electrical projects Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents Complete detailed material and labor takeoffs Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Develop accurate and competitive project estimates Identify project risks, exclusions, and opportunities Develop bid strategies and final proposals Work closely with Project Management, Operations, and company leadership Manage multiple estimates and bid deadlines Assist with project turnover after successful bids

Requirements:

7+ years of electrical estimating experience Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical construction background Ability to independently estimate projects from plans and specifications Strong knowledge of electrical materials, labor, and installation methods Experience with Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar software Strong understanding of local electrical construction and pricing Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
