Job Description

Project Manager / Estimator - Heavy Highway & Paving Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator with a strong background in heavy highway, asphalt paving, and roadway construction . This individual will be responsible for estimating projects, managing awarded work, and working closely with field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably. Responsibilities Prepare estimates and competitive bids for heavy highway and paving projects Perform quantity takeoffs and review plans, specifications, and bid documents Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Manage projects from award through completion Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets Track project costs, production, change orders, and profitability Coordinate with superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients Prepare and negotiate change orders and assist with contract administration Maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, and project partners Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget Qualifications 3+ years of experience in heavy highway, asphalt paving, roadway, or related civil construction Estimating and project management experience preferred Strong understanding of paving and highway construction means and methods Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Strong knowledge of quantities, production rates, labor, and material costs Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and estimates simultaneously Experience with estimating/project management software preferred What We Offer Competitive salary Performance-based bonus Excellent benefits package Paid time off Career advancement opportunities Stable project backlog A company that provides a long-term opportunity to grow and take on additional responsibility Send resume to mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com for more information
