United Disabilities Services Foundation (UDSF), is a non-profit organization committed to helping seniors, veterans and people with disabilities lead more independent and fulfilling lives. In our 60 plus years, we've developed a wide variety of services and programs that improve quality of life and expand boundaries - including in-home personal care, accessible home modifications, care management, service dogs, custom wheelchair seating and more. The Accessibility Designer interacts with an individual with a disability and their medical documentation to understand current functional abilities in their current environment; probable progression of the disability and then offers recommendations concerning appropriate home modifications and adaptability that meet ADA code / compliance.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree preferred, or 2+ years of experience in the construction field or in a related industry. Bathroom remodel experience a plus! Strong writing ability required, with ability to produce analytical evaluations of customer functioning ability and fully justified recommendations Must have a valid driver's licence and good driving record as company vehicle is provided for business use purposes.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year

Monday-Friday
