Job Description
Residential Electrical Estimator Permanent/Full Time Position $60,000 to $65,000/year depending on experience A regional electrical contractor serving Southeast Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware , is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Electrical Estimator to join our team and help secure profitable single
- and multi-family projects. What They'll do:
- Review plans, specs and site conditions to produce takeoffs and cost estimates
- Prepare detailed labor, material and equipment cost breakdowns
- Create competitive, accurate bids and proposals
- Coordinate with project managers, suppliers and subcontractors to confirm pricing and lead times
- Maintain estimate files, scope clarifications and historical cost data
- Support value engineering and change order pricing What we're looking for
- 2+ years estimating experience in residential electrical construction (or strong electrical field background with estimating exposure)
- Proficiency with takeoff/estimating tools (e.g., Winest, Excel) — willing to train on company software
- Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, labor productivity, and basic code requirements
- Excellent attention to detail, math skills and written communication
- Ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines Compensation
