Fabrication Estimator Requirements:

1+ year of estimating or sales experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or a technical field required Ability to Read/Interpret Blueprints required Knowledge of Fabrication Processes (Welding, Cutting, Forming), MIG/TIG, Press brake/Laser Cutting Etc required Knowledge of Steel Types, Materials, and MFG Processes required SolidWorks or CAD experience preferred Quality control / inspection experience preferred

Fabrication Estimator Responsibilities:

Estimating and supporting the sale of custom metal fabrication and machining projects while serving as the main point of contact between customers and production Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, preparing quotes, and translating customer requirements into shop work instructions Additional duties include coordinating with production on capabilities and lead times, communicating with customers and suppliers, supporting project handoff, and identifying cost savings and additional opportunities Please be on the lookout for a (774) area code calling you.
