Job Description Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for prospective projects. Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Solicit and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors. Develop material, labor, and equipment cost projections. Identify potential project risks and cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with project managers and operations teams during project planning. Maintain accurate estimating records and databases. Support the bid submission process and client communications. Review project outcomes to improve future estimating accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of estimating experience in construction, manufacturing, engineering, or a related industry. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
